Cancellation & Other Policies…
Upon confirming your appointment request (whether by phone or e-mail), we will reserve that time specifically for you. Therefore, if you find it necessary to cancel your appointment for any reason, we kindly request that you provide us with no less than four hours notice so that we may offer that appointment time to another client.
Cancellations that occur with less than four hours notice (or no shows) will result in a 100% charge. Also, if you miss an appointment without notifying us, we may disallow you from scheduling with us again, or may require you to prepay for your next appointment.
Should you arrive late, we will do our best to provide your requested service within the remaining portion of your reserved time. However, if you arrive more than fifteen minutes late, we reserve the right to cancel your appointment and categorize it as a no show.
Inappropriate behavior (especially of a sexual nature), as determined by the massage therapist, will result in the treatment session being terminated and the client being charged for the scheduled treatment, regardless of whether the treatment session has been completed or not. So, behave yourself!
An Ounce of Prevention…
Please make us aware of any medical conditions, special needs, and / or special requests that you may have upon making your appointment (including pregnancy). This is important so that we may prepare accordingly and make you aware of any contraindications that your condition may present.
As Licensed Massage Therapists, it is our responsibility to apply our knowledge and training to making sound informed decisions about when massage is appropriate and when it may be contraindicated. It is very important that our clients make us aware of ANY physical, psychological, or medical condition that they may be experiencing currently, or have experienced in the past. We are really not being nosy, we are just being safe. Of course we want everyone to enjoy the many benefits of massage, but our ultimate responsibility is to do no harm.
Although we believe in the therapeutic and healing properties of herbs, care must be taken in the use thereof, as they are powerful compounds. If you have any concerns regarding the use of herbs, please request the spa service menu supplement that corresponds with your chosen spa service. Our spa service supplements explain some of the properties, therapeutic benefits, and contraindications associated with each ingredient in your chosen spa treatment, and will help you avoid any potential allergic or otherwise negative reactions.
